2011 Summer Camp Info

Frog Hollow Mission & Philosophy
The overall mission is to provide students of all levels with a superior and fun-filled camp experience.  Emphasis will be placed on modern tennis principles in an environment that promotes success on and off the court.

Staff Information
All teaching professionals at Frog Hollow are either PTR or USPTA certified. Our world-class capabilities help to enhance the quality of each student’s understanding & enjoyment of the game of tennis.

Frog Hollow Facility Information
Frog Hollow is located on 11.5 acres of land.   We have five outdoor Har-Tru (American clay) tennis courts and six indoor tennis courts, of which three are Har-Tru and three are hard surface.  Our club is a true year-round tennis facility.  During rain or excessive heat,  we use the indoor courts for camp so there is no reason to miss camp due to inclement weather.  The clubhouse, originally a barn built in the 1800s, offers a rustic and friendly atmosphere.  We maintain a competitive yet family fun environment!

Frog Hollow Junior Camp (Ages 11 - 18)
Frog Hollow Junior Camp offers a fun and dynamic camp focused on tennis for players at all levels - beginners  to top ranked juniors.  In the morning, we will provide a combination of technical and tactical instruction.  In the afternoon, campers will enjoy competing in organized matches.  At the end of each week, all campers will participate in match play and tournaments to cap off their fun filled experience. At the  High Performance level, campers will receive extensive practice and physical training to meet fierce competition.

10 and Under Tennis Camp (Ages 4 - 10)
Campers begin learning the Frog Hollow style of tennis in a fun environment! 10 and Under Tennis, featuring the USTA QuickStart format, is designed to bring kids into the game by utilizing specialized equipment, shorter court dimensions and modified scoring, all tailored to age and size. It is divided into two different levels - ages 8 and under and ages 10 and under.  This new play format is the fast, fun way to get kids into tennis... and keep them playing!
campers ages 4 & 5 are limited to half day camp.

High School Team Training Camp
(Offered July 18th - Sep 2nd ONLY)
This camp offers competitive training designed for high school and middle school players.  Each student will be taught both singles and doubles strategies needed to be successful during the school season.
